About our Company

dt saddlery GmbH design & technik, located in the idyllic south of Munich, commenced its activities for the European market - combined with global ambitions - in August 2007. The companys founders can draw on their lifetime experience to combine innovative and new materials with classic ones, refined by extraordinary design. The results are high-quality saddles and equitation accessories. Under the brand name Butterfly® we produce first class saddles for dressage, jumping and general purpose. For our special editions we closely cooperate with well-known, qualified riders and experts for riding and education, such as Uta Gräf, Michael Putz, Thomas Mühlbauer, Richard Hinrichs, Monty Roberts and Kirsten Jung.

Together with his former business partner Curt Merker, Hjalmar Conzet was presented with the Equus by the Förderkreis des nationalen und internationalen Reitsports in Bayern (FRB) (association of national and international equestrian sports in Bavaria). This is the highest award in Bavaria a person can get, which has contributed greatly to the equestrian sports.

Hjalmar Conzet is a bundle of energy with highest professional experience, always searching for new and creative challenges. He has comprehensive and proven contacts in the world of equestrian sports and co-operated and co-operates closely with equestrian legends such as Ludger Beerbaum, ex world champion Norbert Koof and Thomas Mühlbauer (showjumping) as well as with Ulla Salzgeber, an international dressage star. Beside these cooperations also the experiences of committed leisure riders have been introduced in his creations.

His wife and management partner of dt saddlery Chunmei Conzet-Liu is working for many years in the equestrian sector. In close cooperation with Hjalmar Conzet she founded her factory MEI TI with the credo, that only high-quality products are worthy of being produced.
